つくばSKIPアカデミープログラミング実習 2022 / Programming Workshop 2022: Tsukuba SKIP Academy

筑波大学の小中学生向け社会連携事業「つくば SKIP アカデミー」にて、プログラミング実習の教材設計と講師を担当。受講生は講義・実習・グループワークを通じて「プログラム」が社会で活躍する様々なシーンを知り、自身のアイデアに基づいたアプリケーションの設計と実装に取り組んだ。大学スタッフの手を借りながら高度な研究に取り組む意欲を持った受講生が、プログラムやコンピュータの力を用いて自身の取り組みを高める糸口となるような体験を目指した。

前年度から継続の取り組みとなった今回は、立案段階で受講生と講師を交えたグループディスカッションを設け、受講生が他の人のアイデアに刺激を受けるとともに、設計の妥当性や実装量の見積もりを客観的に行う力を身につけることを狙った。

Designed and taught programming practice materials at Tsukuba SKIP Academy, a social collaboration project by University of Tsukuba, for elementary and junior high school students. Through a 30-minute lecture and 90-minute hands-on practice, students learned about various situations in which "programs" play an active role in society, and worked on designing and implementing applications based on their own ideas. The aim of the experience was to provide a clue for students who are willing to engage in advanced research with the help of university staff to enhance their own efforts using the power of programs and computers.

In this year's project, a continuation of the previous year, group discussions were held with students and lecturers at the planning stage, aiming to stimulate students to learn from the ideas of others and to acquire the ability to objectively estimate the validity of the design and the amount of implementation.
